Commercial snow and ice services

Commercial winter service needs a site plan that reflects how the property operates. Cottage Contracting reviews snow and ice service inquiries for commercial properties within available winter routes. Share the site address, operating hours and the areas that need service before the season is scheduled.

Map service areas and priorities

Identify parking areas, entrances, loading zones, pedestrian routes and any locations with restricted access. Mark obstacles and areas where equipment cannot go. Sidewalk clearing and de-icing should be discussed explicitly rather than assumed to be part of a parking-area scope.

Plan snow storage and relocation

Show where snow can be placed without blocking access, sightlines or required spaces. If storage is limited, discuss how relocation or hauling would be reviewed and quoted. Those tasks may require additional equipment, an agreed destination and separate arrangements.

Agree on the service terms

A written plan should state the included work, service triggers or scheduling terms, site contact and how extra requests are handled. Discuss de-icing materials, site reporting and responsibilities between visits. Availability and response arrangements are confirmed for the property; a general inquiry does not reserve a route.

Request a winter site quote

Send a marked site plan or photographs, approximate maintained area and your required start date. Include known delivery, tenant or business-hour constraints. We will review the site, route capacity and quote scope before confirming commercial winter service.
