Describe the material, not just the pile

List wood, offcuts, packaging, fixtures or other material separately and identify approximate quantities. Dense loads such as concrete, stone, brick, soil or roofing material need specific review. Mixed piles can require different handling and disposal arrangements, so do not assume every material is included in one quoted load.

 

Loading access changes the work

Tell us whether debris is already outside and accessible or must be carried from inside the building. Identify stairs, long carries, sharp edges and the space available for parking and turning. Keep the loading route separate from active work where practical, and agree on the pickup area before the visit.

 

Removal is separate from demolition

A debris-removal quote does not automatically include tear-out, dismantling, structural work or excavation. If materials are still attached to the building, describe that work separately. Flag hazardous or unidentified material

Suspected asbestos, chemicals, fuels, paint and unidentified material are outside routine debris hauling. Identify concerns before work is quoted; do not mix these items into a general pile. Accepted materials, handling requirements and disposal arrangements must be confirmed for the job.
