Selective demolition and removal

Removal work should begin with a clear plan for what is coming out and what must remain. Cottage Contracting reviews selective demolition and interior-removal inquiries associated with defined property and renovation projects. We assess the site and proposed scope before confirming the work we can undertake.

Mark removal and retained areas

Send photographs or drawings that distinguish the items to remove from the surfaces and features to protect. Explain what will replace them and whether the space is occupied. Access, dust control, staging and the sequence of the following work belong in the project discussion.

Resolve structural and service questions

Walls, openings and concealed services require appropriate assessment before removal. Any structural design, service isolation or specialist work must be identified and assigned. A general removal inquiry does not establish that a wall or building element can safely be removed.

Define handling and disposal

The quote should identify removal, loading, hauling, receiving arrangements and cleanup responsibilities. Tell us about vehicle access, available staging space and known material information. Suspected hazardous materials require appropriate specialist review; hazardous-material abatement is not implied by this service.

Request a defined project review

Send your location, photos, proposed changes and timing through the general inquiry for a focused removal request. For demolition within a major renovation, include it in the construction project form. Whole-structure demolition, explosive work and unrestricted structural demolition are not claimed by this selective-removal scope.
