Cottage Contracting creates new garden beds and planting areas for homes and cottages in Parry Sound, Seguin and surrounding serviced communities. Bring a bare corner, an overgrown border or an idea for the space beside your entrance, patio or walkway. We can discuss the layout, preparation, soil, planting and mulch as one defined installation.

 

Start with the space and how you use it

Identify the proposed bed area, plants you want to keep, nearby paths and access for materials. Photographs and approximate measurements help us understand the size of the work. Sun exposure, existing soil, drainage and the amount of care you want to provide all belong in the planting discussion.

 

Define the preparation and materials

A new bed may involve removing grass or unwanted growth, shaping edges, bringing in soil and placing selected plants and mulch. The written quote identifies which tasks and materials are included, what happens to removed material and whether delivery or machine access is needed. Plant varieties, sizes and availability are confirmed before ordering.

 

Plan for care after planting

Tell us whether you are at the property full time or visiting on weekends. Watering arrangements and access matter when choosing and establishing new planting. Connect the beds to a larger landscape

If planting is part of new patios, paths, retaining walls or a property redesign, start with the landscape design and build inquiry. That route is intended for landscape projects with an anticipated investment of $10,000 or more, including 2027 planning. Smaller bed installations use the general property-service inquiry.
