Give the garden areas a clear plan for the season. Cottage Contracting welcomes garden-care, bed-refresh and mulching inquiries for homes and cottages in Parry Sound, Seguin and surrounding serviced areas.

 

Identify the beds and priorities

Show us which areas need work and which existing plants or features should stay. Tell us whether the request is a one-time refresh or ongoing upkeep. Photographs, approximate bed dimensions and your preferred outcome help define the discussion.

 

Separate preparation from finishing

Describe the weeds, old material and debris you want addressed before new mulch or planting is considered. Material selection, preparation, delivery, spreading and removal should be stated in the quote. A request for mulch does not automatically include every garden-maintenance task.

 

Choose the level of ongoing care

Explain how much garden care you expect to handle yourself and where you need help. Existing plants, intended new planting and recurring visits can be discussed as separate parts of the plan. Plant choices and availability must be confirmed rather than promised from an inspiration image.

 

Know when the project becomes landscape design

A bed refresh is different from redesigning the outdoor property. Where you want new garden layouts combined with paths, patios or site improvements, use the landscape design/build discussion instead of treating the work as routine maintenance.
