Gutter and eavestrough cleaning
Leaves and debris in eavestroughs can interrupt the flow of water from the roof. Cottage Contracting accepts gutter-cleaning inquiries for homes and cottages in our serviced area. We review the building height, roof configuration and access before confirming whether the proposed work fits our available service.
Show us the building and access
Send exterior photos from the ground, the approximate number of storeys and details of slopes, decks, landscaping or obstructions below the gutters. Note any gutter guards and tell us where downspouts discharge. These details help establish the equipment, access and working limits for a quote.
Separate cleaning from repairs
Describe overflowing sections, visible debris or other concerns you have noticed. Cleaning, downspout assessment, removal of guards and repair work should be identified separately in the agreed scope. We do not assume that a cleaning visit includes roof repairs, replacement eavestroughs or correction of drainage problems.
Plan cleanup and timing
Agree on where removed debris goes, which areas need protection and how the crew will access the property. Weather and safe working conditions affect scheduling. A seasonal property-maintenance visit may offer a useful opportunity to coordinate other exterior cleanup, subject to route and crew availability.
Ask for a scoped visit
Use the property-service inquiry with your location, photographs, height information and preferred timing. We will confirm the work we can undertake and any access or specialist requirements before booking. You do not need to climb onto the roof to gather information for the initial inquiry.
