Gravel driveway grading and repairs
A gravel driveway should be planned around how vehicles enter, turn and reach the property. Cottage Contracting reviews driveway grading, regravelling and repair projects in Parry Sound, Seguin and surrounding serviced areas. Photographs of ruts, potholes, washouts and the full driveway help us understand more than the surface alone.
Understand the water and the wear
Tell us where water collects or crosses the drive and whether the problem returns after rain or spring thaw. The existing crown, edges, low spots and destination of runoff belong in the site assessment. Adding gravel alone may not address the reason a section keeps washing out.
Define grading and material work
The quote can distinguish reshaping existing material from adding new aggregate, repairing a localized section or preparing a wider driveway area. Length, width, turning space, slopes and delivery access affect the scope. Material selection and quantities are confirmed for the project; a generic per-foot price is not a substitute for those details.
Coordinate access during the project
Mention shared entrances, private-road arrangements, buried services, gates and any limits on truck or machine access. Discuss where deliveries can be staged and how vehicles will use the property while work is underway. Larger landscape plans may combine driveway improvements with paths or yard drainage.
Send a driveway inquiry
Include location, approximate dimensions, problem-area photos and timing. Smaller repairs use the property-service inquiry; broader landscape work can start with the landscape project form. This page covers driveway work, not asphalt paving, gravel-pit operations or retail aggregate sales.
